TAKE IT SLOW TOUR
3-hour tour with a visit to the Cathedral
PLN 750 | English
A walk through the heart of medieval Toruń – a city of raftmen, merchants, and scholars. We will set off from the Old Town Hall toward the Raftman Monument, step inside St. Mary’s Church, pass under Caesar’s Arch, walk alongside the defensive walls, and stand beside the Leaning Tower.
We will stop by the granaries and the Holy Spirit Gate, from where people once descended to the port on the Vistula River. Next, we will follow the Royal Route to the Cathedral Basilica, stepping inside to discover its unique history and importance to the city.
Then, we will pause at Nicolaus Copernicus’ House to talk about the mysterious life of the astronomer. We will end our walk at the Old Town Market Square, by Nicolaus’ monument, to see for ourselves if "Copernicus was a woman" and try to answer a question that has intrigued all visitors to our city for years.
